What does “Held at customs” mean?
When a parcel is "held at customs", the destination country's customs authority is processing it — usually awaiting a duty or tax payment, a document, or a routine inspection.
It rarely means anything is wrong; it's a normal step for international shipments above the duty-free threshold.
What to do
Watch for an email or notice requesting payment or a document from the carrier or broker, and respond promptly to release the parcel.
